Iridology
- What is it?
- The iris is a coloured part of your eye. Just as your fingerprint, it is unique to you- no two people in the Universe have the same iris - now iris recognition is replacing passport control in many international airports. Your iris can tell a lot to a careful and educated observer.
Iridology – the study of the iris – examines every fibre, colour and pattern in the iris that are believed to correlate with your body’s systems and functions. In this sense, iridology is similar to reflexology, Live Blood View, Facial Diagnosis and other visual medicine tools.
In some countries, such as Russia and Germany, iridology is a legitimate medical tool. In others, it is used by naturopaths to help maintain health and prevent diseases alongside mainstream medicine.
The six rings of the irisWhat is the process of “looking in the eye” like?- The therapist will use a specialist high-resolution camera connected to the computer and capturing software to take pictures of your irises. Once the photos of your irises are on screen in front of you, the therapist will explain to you what different features in your iris may indicate and how your iris can be related to the manifestations of health and disease. You will be able to receive a copy of the report on the findings and the photos by e-mail.
- Preparation
- As a rule the client does not need to do anything before the treatment.
It is useful, however, to go, in your mind’s eye, through the physical events in your life, such as operations and surgeries (do you still have your appendix, gall bladder, tonsils); falls, accidents, childbirth; as well as to analyse your response to viruses and bacteria (do you fall ill easily? Do you recover quickly?). It is also useful to think back to your parents and grandparents- how healthy they are/were; is there any chronic disease in the family? - Time allocation
- 70-75 minutes in combination with Facial Diagnosis (see below).
- Cost
- The consultation costs £80 with Facial Diagnosis (see below). Check the List of Treatments for further information.

No lacuna, spot, crack and other genetic weakness are
shown on an iris picture of a comparatively healthy
person. It looks like a silk in surface texture, no fibre
disorder or differentiation in colour. If any changes on
the iris are shown on the picture, the function of
corresponding organ has been reflected. Iridology is not a medical exam or a definitive diagnosis of disease. Rather, it proposes to recognize:- Toxins and their locations

A picture, as they say, speaks a thousand words, and is hard to forget. Some people commit themselves there and then to making changes, and stick with their commitment.
- How long does the effect last?
- For as long as you are conscious of the need to make certain changes in your lifestyle and nutrition and are making them.

Facial Diagnosis
What is it?- The art and science of Facial Diagnosis have their roots in the ancient Chinese medicine. Chinese healers believed that the face was a concentrated expression of the body while the body was an expanded expression of the face.
Unlike modern mainstream medicine, Facial Diagnosis is not designed to “label” your conditions. Its purpose is to draw your attention to imbalances and weaknesses in your health or fitness, in your digestion, absorption or immune or respiratory systems. And, as we know, “where attention goes the energy flows”. - How can Facial Diagnosis help me?
- Facial Diagnosis is an investigative naturopathic consultation. It is not a "diagnosis" in the modern clinical sense of this word. It is a way of showing you how your genetic predispositions, your upbringing, lifestyle and choices, stress levels, and nutrition have made you who you are today and the way you look today. It can give you ideas of what you need to change to achieve a higher level of vitality and health. It goes beyond skin analysis, to connect all systems of your body with the features on your face.
What is involved in a Facial Diagnosis consultation- Your visit to a Facial Diagnosis consultant will mainly consist of a conversation during which the consultant will also observe your face and make notes and sometimes draw diagrams.
You may be asked questions about your lifestyle, levels of physical activity, or whether you have had any accidents, surgeries and diseases, as well as whether you suffer from any phobias or food intolerances. The therapist may inquire about your sleep patterns, stress levels, how you respond to stress, whether your bowel habits are regular and so on.
The therapist may gently touch your face from time to time, to assess whether there is puffiness, may be look at you through a small magnifying glass to see better small wrinkles on the skin and so on. Afterwards the therapist will advise you of the findings and recommend simple steps that will help you achieve better health. You will take home a summary sheet, containing the recommendations. - How long the consultation will last and how much does it cost?
- 70-75 minutes; £80 in combination with Iridology (see above). Please check the List of Treatments for for further information.
- Can the therapist diagnose medical conditions, like IBS, enteritis or cancer?
- The therapist can identify strengths and weaknesses in your systems - respiratory, digestive, excretory, endocrine or reproductive. If you have concerns about any of those you will need to see a medical practitioner, who would be able to take tests and establish a medical diagnosis.
